Admissions

Our classrooms are designed to take advantage of the child’s sensitive years from 2 years through Kindergarten. All applicants for enrollment are accepted without regard to race, religion, sex, or national origin. Please call and come in for a visit, (if possible bring your child) and start the enrollment process. You can download and fill out the registration form below. The Parent's handbook is also available online for your convenience. When your child applies for enrollment, you will receive all the necessary paperwork including financial contract and Parent Handbook (available online), which explains in detail all aspects of our school.

Practical Life

Exercises that enhance the safety and development of the child. Intellectual organization and independence are learned through care of self (hygiene), care of the environment, exercises of grace, courtesy, and refinement of physical movement.

Sensorial

Materials enable the child to order, classify, seriate and describe sensory impressions in relation to length, width, temperature, mass and color.

Language

Works includes oral language development, written expressions, reading, the study of grammar, children’s literature. Basic skills in writing and reading are developed through the use of sandpaper letters, moveable alphabet, and various presentations.

General

The child is also presented with geography, history, life, science, music, art, and movement education.

Montessori Math

Manipulative materials allow the child to learn by internalizing the concepts of numbers, symbols, sequences, sets, place values, operations and memorization of basic facts.

Nutrition

The focus of all meals should be a nutritious, well-balanced meal. Snacks are prepared by Staff and sometimes the children. Nutritious snacks of vegetables, fruit, cheese, peanut butter, whole grain breads, crackers and juice are provided.

Dance and Gymnastics

Webby Dance Studio: Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Dance. Dance Recitals help yearly in June.
